World Missions

About World Missions

We believe our mission as a diocese is "to make known to all people the transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ." Following our Lord's call to take the Good News into all the world, we have joined in formal Companion Diocese relationships with the Dioceses of Nassau and the Bahamas, and Dominican Republic.

Congregations and individuals in the Diocese of Southeast Florida have also partnered with people in other parts of the Episcopal Church and the worldwide Anglican Communion in ongoing relationships of mutual ministry.

Diocesan participation in ministries around the world is coordinated by the diocesan World Mission Commission, chaired by the Rev. Marty Zlatic, Rector of St. Joseph's, Boynton Beach. For more information on mission opportunities, contact Fr. Zlatic or Linda Schlepp-Gray.
