ECW - Episcopal Church Women
Episcopal Church Women (ECW)

The Episcopal Church Women (ECW) of the Diocese of Southeast Florida is part of the churchwide organization of Episcopal Church Women, a ministry of and for women, through which they are called and empowered by grace to serve our Lord in prayer, action, study and fellowship.
As women members of the Episcopal Church, all women in every congregation in the diocese are members of ECW and are invited to be active participants in the organization’s ministries.

Each ECW Branch Is Unique
Each congregation’s branch of ECW has its own unique identity and expression of its mission. How this is lived out depends on the mission of the particular congregation and the interests, talents and imaginations of the ECW members there. However, all ECW branches share these common aspects of their life together:
- Prayer — in a variety of languages and cultural expressions
- Action — serving Christ through a variety of ministries in the parish, the community and the world
- Study — to grow more deeply in faith and in the love of Christ
- Fellowship — to live as a community of Christian women

Almighty God, we pray that you will bless our work in mission and ministry in the world. Make us so thankful for the power of your love, given through your son, Jesus, that we may pray, labor and give liberally to make known that love throughout the world. Amen.
