We provide a hot nutritional meal every day to the homeless and
nearly homeless. Recently, we served 208 clients during one mealtime,
the most clients ever in one day. We also invite other service
providers to help our clients. During different times of the week,
we have representatives from Legal Aid, HIV/AIDs Testing, FIU
Nurses, and the Veterans Administration. We have a working relationship
with the Broward Outreach Center and Henderson Mental Health Services.
Through these affiliations, we provide a women's support group,
mental health counseling, and a pick-up service so that clients
who are living on the streets can access a shower and laundry
facilities.
Through our Office of Social Concerns, we provide information
and referrals to those in need, hygiene kits, bus passes, and
emergency food.
