Right now we’re giving thanks that Ernesto proved to be not much of a storm, but this is the height of hurricane season—time to be prepared. Whenever a hurricane threatens Southeast Florida we’ll send email messages to clergy regarding office closings, schedule changes and any emergency instructions. Meanwhile, you can find information on how to prepare for--and respond to—storms at http://www.diosef.org/hurricane.html (or click on the Hurricane Response link on the diocesan website). Rectors, priests-in-charge and senior wardens, please make sure the Diocesan Office has emergency contact information for you or some designated person in your congregation.
